Department of Ophthalmology

N.P.C.B (National Programme for Control of Blindness)

Twelve free eye camps were held at different blocks of Meerut and Baghpat district on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by eye Department of Subharti Hospital in month of October 2011. Total four hundred and forty three patients were examined and one hundred forty seven were operated for cataract.

Blood Bank

CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI SUBHARTI BLOOD BANK

Two voluntary blood donation camps were held in the month of October 2011 and total one hundred and seventy seven units of blood were collected. Five hundred and thirty three units of blood were collected from replacement donors and eleven hundred and fifty seven units of blood and blood products were issued to patients.

*Monthly report of HIV-TB co-infection will be submitted of one month back from now onwards as the cases which are referred from ICTC to RNTCP take atleast one month to get diagnosed for tuberculosis and their report can only be submitted after one month.


Department of Respiratory Medicine:


REVISED NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAMME
Total 164 patients were examined out of which 17 patients were found positive. Out of 17 patients, 03 patients put on DOTS, 05 patients referred out of District, 06 patients referred with in District, 01 patient was admitted in hospital and 02 patients have taken treatment from outside in the month of October 2011.
